What kind of year 2027 is
This is a 丁未 year — yin Fire over Earth, a combination Korean saju reads as fuel going into ground. Fire generating Earth makes it a consolidating year rather than an expanding one: slow to start, hard to reverse, better for finishing than for launching. That is the general weather. For you it is also personal, because 未 is the branch that sits directly across from yours.
How the Fire Goat year meets the Ox
丑未 chung is the clash of the two Earth storehouses, and Korean saju treats this pairing differently from the other five clashes. Both branches are keepers. What collides is not two temperaments but two accumulations — what you have been holding onto meets a year that holds the opposite. In practice this arrives as a position you have maintained for years being tested by circumstance rather than by argument. The lease ends, the role changes shape, the person you were waiting for makes a decision. There is a second layer as well: Ox, Goat and Dog form a punishment group, so a Goat year puts two of the three in the same room by default. Expect at least one situation where everybody involved is behaving reasonably and it is still unworkable.
Work
Clash years move people. That is the plain reading and there is no gentle version of it. What you get to choose is whether the move is yours. Oxen who reach the end of a clash year having initiated the change generally report it as the year things finally opened; Oxen who waited for the change to be initiated for them report it as the year everything was done to them. Money

Clash years are exactly the years those assumptions break. It is a good year for building the buffer that makes a mid-year change survivable, which is unexciting advice and the correct advice.
Relationships
The clash is more useful here than anywhere else, because 丑未 tends to surface what was already structurally unresolved rather than creating new trouble. A relationship that has been carrying an unaddressed question about direction will be asked the question this year, by circumstance if not by either of you. Relationships without that question underneath them generally come out of a clash year noticeably stronger, having been made explicit. The ones that end were, in most cases, already over and merely unfiled.
Months to watch
July, the Goat month inside the Goat year, is the concentrated stretch — the clash doubles and whatever has been pending tends to arrive there. December pairs with you in six harmony and is the calmest place to make an agreement. May and September sit in your metal triad and are where your own methods work best; if you are going to initiate something, initiate it in one of those two rather than waiting for the quiet at the end of the year.
Do not out-wait this one. Endurance is your best instrument and it is the wrong instrument for a clash year — the thing you are enduring is not going to pass, it is going to arrive.
